The only players to ever win the Carolinas Super Senior Four-Ball, partners Jim Pridgen of Jamestown, N.C., and Ernie Newton of Wallburg, N.C., return for a chance at their fourth consecutive title. In last year's championship held at River Hills Country Club, Pridgen-Newton came from behind in the final round to complete the three-peat and win the 2014 Carolinas Super Senior Four-Ball Championship. Pridgen-Newton were one shot behind Roger Taylor of Conover, N.C., and Bob Yow of Clinton, N.C. but a second round score of four-under par 68 helped them to victory and a two-day total of six under par 138.

This is the second CGA championship hosted by Hendersonville Country Club. Earlier this year, the club hosted the Carolinas Women's Senior Championship. One of Donald Ross' signature jewels, Hendersonville Country Club is home to a par 70, 18-hole course. Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hendersonville Country Club is one of the best private clubs, not only in the mountains of Western North Carolina, but also throughout the entire Southeast.

The Carolinas Super Senior Four-Ball Championship format is 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. Entry is open to any male golfer who has reached his 65th birthday by October 14, 2015, is a legal resident of North or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) and has a current USGA handicap index at a member club.

The CGA will post any tournament delays or cancellations via our Twitter account. Follow @cgagolf1909.
