U.S. Amateur Public Links Entries Now Open
Applications are now being accepted online by the USGA for the 2013 Amateur Public Links Championship, which will be conducted July 15-20 at Laurel Hill Golf Club in
The application period will close at 5pm, May 22, 2013. Entry Fee is $50.
Qualifying rounds (36 holes) will be conducted on Monday, June 17 at Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, SC and on Saturday-Sunday, June 22-23 at St James Plantation (Founders Club) in Southport, NC.
A $25.00 Cart/Range Fee will be charged each day for the St. James qualifying site. (Players must walk but caddies may take a cart.).
Accommodations on site at St James include many options for players, families or groups and special “Stay and Play” rates can be extended to dates before and after qualifying.
The prices below include golf, lodging, range balls, and all taxes and fees. All four courses are included in our stay and play packages subject to availability. Stay and Play guests have access to the restaurants at all the clubs, but the other amenities such as the exercise facilities and indoor pools are for members only. Breakfast can also be included in the package if requested. Our Stay and Play guests stay at our Club Villa or Marshwind Villas, which are centrally located within the plantation.
