Vicki DiSantis Girls' - New Qual Opportunities

 

The Vicki DiSantis Junior Girls' Championship
New Qualifying Opportunities for Rescheduled Date

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (July 2, 2019) -- The 14th Vicki DiSantis Junior Girls' Championship was rescheduled due to inclement weather. The rescheduled dates are August 24-25, 2019. New qualifying opportunities are now available.

The Top 15 girls (not already in The Vicki DiSantis Girls' Championship field) will earn exemptions at the 63rd Carolinas Junior Girls' Championship. The Carolinas Junior Girls' Championship is scheduled for July 30-August 1 at Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, S.C. The Carolinas Golf Association will also partner with the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls' Golf Tour to host two qualifiers in the Carolinas for The Vicki DiSantis Girls' Championship. 15 qualifying spots will be split between the two qualifiers, one in North Carolina and one in South Carolina. *Please note, only players in the Prep Division of the PKBGT events will qualify for the Vicki DiSantis Girls' Championship. Qualifying information is below:

PKBGT One-Day at Pine Island Country Club in Charlotte, N.C. on July 23

PKBGT One-Day at Spring Valley Country Club in Columbia, S.C. on August 3

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)

The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers. The CGF has distributed nearly $2,000,000 since 1977 to benefit Carolinas' golf initiatives including junior and women's programs.
