CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 3, 2026) – Tyler Ford of Weddington, N.C., and PGA Professional Jack Faraci of Charlotte, N.C., claimed the title at the 20th Carolinas Pro-Junior on Monday at Providence Country Club, defeating Bobby Donnellan of Goose Creek, S.C., and PGA Professional Jamen Sanders on the second playoff hole after both teams finished at 8-under-par 64.

The Carolinas Pro-Junior brings together junior golfers and PGA Professionals in an 18-hole Pinehurst Foursomes competition, a format that emphasizes strategy, communication, and teamwork. Both players tee off on each hole before switching balls for their second shots. After both second shots are played, the team selects the preferred ball and completes the hole using alternate shot until it is holed.

Ford and Faraci navigated the unique format better than the rest of the field, matching Donnellan and Sanders at 8-under before prevailing in the playoff to capture the championship.

Jaydon DeVecchio of Newton, N.C., and PGA Professional John Fahey of Charlotte, N.C., finished alone in third place at 7-under-par 65, one stroke shy of joining the playoff.

Two teams tied for fourth at 6-under-par 66. Bo Bolick of Jamestown, N.C., teamed with PGA Professional Simon Hall of Cary, N.C., while Baker Hudson of New Bern, N.C., paired with PGA Professional Haley Blevins to post matching rounds of 66.

Six teams shared sixth place at 5-under-par 67: Elliott Jones and Will Cherry, Brewer Lalel and Jason Akel, Marcy Newton and Tyler Lambert, Graham Hall and Sean Kennedy, David Sanchez and Riley Adkins, and Robert Linville and Riley Grimm.

The annual championship provides junior golfers with the opportunity to compete alongside PGA Professionals from across the Carolinas while testing their ability to work together in one of golf's most unique team formats.
